About Me

Welcome, I’m Emma - an artist, illustrator and therapeutic arts facilitator.

Currently building my illustration practice and open to commissions and collaborations.

Creativity has always been an anchor for me — a companion, and a way of stepping into inner worlds when the outside world felt difficult or overwhelming.

I’ve often felt like an outsider, never quite belonging in obvious places. But through art, I found a way to tell stories, explore meaning, and stay connected to something sustaining beneath the surface.

While this connection has sometimes faded during periods of grief or uncertainty, I’ve come to understand that it was never lost — only waiting. I’m now exploring how to meet creativity again with intention, curiosity, and care, and how illustration can hold both depth and lightness in equal measure.

When I work with others — whether through commissioned illustration or shared creative spaces — my hope is that they feel recognised, witnessed, and held. I’m interested in work that catalyses something meaningful, but always in a gentle, aligned way — never through pressure or provocation.

I’m currently building my illustration practice and sharing the journey as it unfolds.
